Tarjeta interactiva con unicornios

Tarjeta interactiva con unicornios para el día 2 de la cuenta atrás para el lanzamiento de julio de MFT.

Esta entrada está también disponible en: English

(Próximamente en español) For Day 2 of the July Release Countdown I played with the unicorns from the Fairy Tale Friends stamp set and matching dies to create an interactive card. One of today’s featured products, the Magical Rainbow Die-namics is actually an add-on to the Peek-a-Boo Wheel Die-namics.

You can cut an arch in your card base, using one of the dies from the set and glue the rainbow to the wheel. That way, it’ll magically appear when you rotate it. I’ve made a couple of these types of cards in the past… you can see them HERE and HERE, but now with this specific die set, it’s a lot easier.

This time, instead of cutting a window in my card panel, I simply cut a slit behind the unicorn to the left. The rainbow is attached to the wheel with a thin strip of Scor-Tape. Although you can’t see it, the end of it is already peeking through the slit. I even added some matching enamel dots to it, so that we can’t rotate the wheel too much.

So the effect when you rotate the wheel is even more magical because it’s unexpected! Let’s see the card in action…

A crafty friend of mine told me, that she always shares her Copic color combinations because they can be helpful to people… This has never occured to me before, but I’ll try to remember to write them down from now on…

Copic combos for the interactive card with unicorns:

Rainbow + tails and manes of the unicorns: R24, R22, YR65, YR61, Y15, Y13, G43, G40, B02, B01, BV02, BV01

Unicorn wings: BG13, BG10

Unicorn bodies: C3, C2, C00 and E51+E50 (for the muzzle)

Interactive card with unicorns and a rainbow for My Favorite Things.

I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the rainbow and wings and a whole bunch of sequins to the background, which I blended with some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil. I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a thin banner, cut with one of the dies from my beloved Skinny Strips Die-namics and that’s it!
