Hi again! It’s time to kick off the My Favorite Things December Release Countdown! I’ve created a colorful card featuring the whimsical Here’s a Hug stamp, that I love.
Time sure flies by when you’re having fun! I’ve finished all of my Christmas cards and for the next six days, I’ll be showing you projects created with some great products from the December Release…
I started by using a bunch of Premium Dye Inks and one of the stamps from the Distressed Patterns stamp set, together with the larger of the Wreath Builder Templates, to create an abstract rainbow wreath. If you like wreaths, HERE’S a recent card that you might enjoy.
It was the perfect background for the Here’s a Hug stamp, which I stamped with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink first and then clear embossed.
I adhered the panel, diecut with the largest die from the Stitched Square STAX Die-namics, to a panel of 4″ x 4″ (10,2 cm x 10,2 cm) Summer Splash Card Stock and then to a 4 1/2″ x 9″ (11,4 cm x 22,8 cm) Black Licorice cardbase.
