(Próximamente en español) Hello! For this month’s Hits & Highlights feature at the My Favorite Things Blog, I’m sharing a bunch of pizza themed cards.

I just couldn’t help myself and had to use all of the super cute toppings included in the Pizza Maker Die-namics set. So I diecut them out of different colored card stock and went to work. ..

The first card is interactive. I followed my friend Karolyn’s awesome «Spinning record player card» tutorial, that you can watch HERE on the MFT YouTube Channel, to create the mechanism. My 0.25″ (6mm) circle die for the hole, is from the Stitched Blooms Die-namics.
As you can see, when we pull the pulltab, the pizza rotates clockwise 360 degrees and when we push it back, it rotates counter-clockwise. Pretty neat, isn’t it?

The cute little chef is from the BB Recipe for Happiness stamp set. I stamped him, as well as the sentiment from the Pizza My Heart set, with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored him with the following Copic markers:
- Face: R20, E04, E21, E11
- Scarf: G99, G94, G14
- Pants: C5, C3, C2, C00
- Buttons: Y17, Y15
- Hat and jacket: C3, C2, C00

In order to use up all of the toppings, that I die cut, I made three pizza mini greeting cards. My 8-year-old will use them to invite his closest friends to a little pizza making party!
