I wanted the rainbow, die cut with the Cascading Rainbow Die-namics, to be the main feature of my clean and simple card. Adding some embossing to the whole panel, kept it simple but interesting.

I started by embossing a piece of Smooth White Card Stock in white, with the Knitted Sweater Background. Then I die cut it with the before-mentioned die to create a textured rainbow.

Next, I used seven tones of MFT Premium Dye Inks to add color to each of the strips. You can see a list of them in the gallery at the end of this post…

I applied double sided adhesive to an A2 panel of white card stock and adhered all of the pieces of my textured rainbow to it. Now, I could trim my panel to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and add it to an A2 top fold cardbase of Summer Splash Prestige Card Stock.

For my sentiment, I partly stamped and heat embossed one of the phrases from the Good Vibes Only stamp set on a piece of Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock and die cut it with one of the dies from the Skinny Strips Die-namics. I completed it with the word «Happy» from the Be Happy Die-namics. As a last touch I added some Clear Round Drops.

I hope you enjoyed my card for today. Don’t forget to visit the MFT Blog for more projects featuring products from the Wild About Rainbows Card Kit.
