They are from the In-Focus Floral Frames Die-namics and I die cut them out of four colors of card stock: Gold Shine, Cotton Candy, Caribbean Sea Prestige and Sour Apple. Actually five, if you count the Smooth White Card Stock that I used for the panel, die cut with the Slimline Starter Die-namics. Before I continue, let’s have a look at the Floral Focus Card Kit:

I immediately fell in love with the floral frames and would love to turn them into earrings. Maybe by die cutting them out of thin leather and painting them with acrylic paint (to make them sturdier). Or maybe I could just die cut them out of gold shrink plastic and make them tiny… I definitely need to experiment a bit.

Before assembling everything, I die cut a second stitched slimline panel which I covered with double sided tape. Now it was easy to inlay all of the pieces, starting with the golden frames.

The green of the leaves and pink of the flowers add a pop of color to a very clean and simple card. The matching gem stones also draw the eyes to the center circle and the sentiment banner. I cut it out of Heavyweight Translucent Vellum with one of the dies from the Itty Bitty Strips Die-namics. The heat embossed sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Basics stamp set.

I can’t wait to see today’s featured projects at the MFT Blog because I know that my teammates have created some stunning stuff! Will you join me?
