Hoy me uno a la cuenta atrás al lanzamiento de mayo (día 3) de MFT con dos tarjetas «masculinas», creadas con algunos de los nuevos y divertidos productos.

For the first one, I used the cute girl from the TI Work in Progress Stamp set. I have a good collection of tools myself and love creating things out of wood, so she totally resonated with me.

I stamped the image with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink, die cut it with the matching die and colored it with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils.

For the sentiment, I stacked three layers of the MSTN Dad Die-namics die cut out of Black Licorice Card Stock. Then I applied mixed media techniques to make them look metallic. I also added a wood plank with one of the sentiments from the MSTN Super Stache Stamp Set.

It only seemed right to use the Pegboard Die-namics for my panel of Smooth White Card Stock. I adhered it to an 8 3/4″ x 5 5/8″ card base of Caribbean Sea card base with strips of foam tape. Then it was a piece of cake to line up all of the elements!

I love making «masculine» cards and I couldn’t pass the opportunity to use the adorable MSTN Mustache Trio Die-namics

Second of two masculine cards. This one features colorful mustaches.

I die cut them out of Butterscotch, Red HotCaribbean Sea and Black Licorice card stock. Then I adhered them (with thin foam squares) to a panel die cut with one of the dies from the Wonky Stitched Mini Slimline STAX Die-namics out of patterned paper (MSTN Black & White Paper Pad).

After adhering everything to my 6″ x 6″ cardbase I added a sentiment die cut out of silver fun foam with dies from the Modern Serif Alphabet Die-namics. I absolutely love this font and can’t wait to use it again!

As a last touch, to balance everything out, I added a couple of matching enamel dots. I had a blast making these masculine cards and I’d love to know which one is your favorite.
