Tarjeta de cumple con auriculares retro

Tarjeta de cumple con auriculares retro para MFT.

The MFT May Vault Release Countdown continues and I’m back to share a Birthday Card with headphones for Day 1.

I actually made it for my hubby who turned 52 on Saturday. He loves sixties and seventies rock ‘n roll so it was just up his alley. When I saw the Equalizer Stencil I knew that I wanted to use it to create a pixelated word or image.

First, I adhered the stencil to a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics. Next, I applied Gravel Gray and Cement Gray Premium Dye Ink to create different shades and add interest to the equalizer graphics.

After that I used tape to mask the surroundings of the pixelated heart shape and added clear embossing paste mixed with Red Hot Premium Dye Ink. Once it dried I wasn’t thrilled with the color, so I used a Copic marker to darken it a bit. To seal in the color, I added a layer of the embossing paste all over the image. I love the irregular effect, because it looks like the heart is glowing.

After stamping the sentiment (and the on button) from the Keep On Rockin’ set with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink, I die cut all of the elements with the Headphones Die-namics out of Black Licorice and Silver Shine card stock.

I assembled them with liquid glue and added a faux leather string to make them look more retro. That’s all for today! Thanks for your visit and don’t forget to head on to the MFT YouTube Channel for more inspiration!
