Flowers at 3flowers

¡Hoy he estado a punto!

On 16 November 2014 I participated in one of the card challenges at 3flowers for the first time and since then I haven’t missed any of their challenges… Today I almost did! The deadline is due in 40 minutes so this will be a really short entry.
Here’s my card for the first challenge of the fifth season at 3flowers which meets the requirements flowers + sentiment:

After finishing my last project, a really colourful mandala, I felt like using more muted colours, inspired by the stamped paper with flowers from Crate Paper’s “Oh darling” collection, that I used for the lower part (the table cloth) of this card…

I used some dies by Paper Smooches (a late Christmas present from my hubby) for the tea cup and tag.

The flower by Die-namics is inlaid in the cup, which I clear embossed several times to achieve a porcelain finish. The mini letters on the tea tag are by La Pareja Creativa and the larger inlaid and camouflaged letters are by Die-namics. The sentiment spells: I love you, but the word “te” has two meanings: “tea” and  “you”.
¡Feliz viernes a todas! Hasta pronto…
