A Birthday card with metal embossing for the December challenge at LPC

A Birthday card with a lot of metallic embossing.
I can’t believe it’s December! The montly challenge at La Pareja Creativa is all about metal, so I made the above Birthday card for my sister-in-law, using three different metallic tones.

It’s always a challenge to photograph something shiny, but I think that I did a fairly good job with this one… I used the retired stencil “Bokeh” with Versamark ink and three types of embossing powder (“Gold Super Fine Detail” by Simon Says Stamp, “Silver” by Lawn Fawn and “Copper” by Ranger) to decorate the main panel, die cut with the second largest die from the set Cuadrados Cosidos.

The die Feliz Cumpleaños Banderín, is still one of my favorites… it’s so delicate and elegant and looks great with multiple layers of embossing.

That’s it for today. I’m going to check out the projects of my teammates and to find out who won the monthly prize. Click on the challenge image to follow me.
