MFT March Release Countdown Day 4

Hi, I’m back with another card! This one is for Day 4 of the MFT March Release Countdown. As I mentioned yesterday, the complete March release won’t be available in the MFT shop until Tuesday, March 12 at 9 a.m. EST. So the links in the product gallery at the end of this post will not work until then. Meanwhile, I invite you to have a look at what the girls and I have created. ^_^

Today’s card is very clean and simple and it features a cute jumping dog (a Welsh Corgi?) from the fun BB Best in Show stamp set. I also completed the hilarious sentiment with the Big Thanks Die-namics and inlay camouflage technique.

I started by lightly inking the background with some Distress Oxide inks and stencils (Mini Cloud Edges and Grassy Edges) and once it was dry, I diecut the sentiment out of the panel. Next I diecut the letters two more times, layered them with matte liquid glue and inserted them in their places.

I added a flying bone, from the BB You Make My Tail Wag set to give the dog an incentive to jump and some Glossy Accents to its nose, to make it even cuter. I love characters that are moving! They can be used in so many different ways and they are ideal for interactive cards.

Lastly, I invite you to visit the MFT design blog and to leave a comment for a chance to win a $75 voucher to the MFT shop. There’s one random winner per Release Countdown day! Also check out what my talented team mates made… I’ll be back tomorrow with a cute interactive card.

That pup has some great bounce abilities! LOL. It took me a minute to figute out how you did the word. I guess I just didn’t catch it the first time I read it ;P

LOL, it sure has! Maybe I should have drawn some movement lines to make it clearer… The word is created with the camouflaged inlay technique. ^_^
