A colorful spring card for Color Challenge 114

Color challenge 114
Hi there!  Today I’m sharing a colorful spring card filled with beautiful flowers that I made for Color Challenge 114 at the MFT Stamps blog.

The colors for this round are Razzle Berry, Cotton Candy, Lemon Chiffon and Limelight. You don’t have to use the exact colors to play, but do draw inspiration from the palette below. You can also use black, white or kraft to complete your project.
I needed a break from Copic coloring, so I used card stock to diecut a whole bunch of pretty flowers and leaves from the Stitched Blooms Die-namics. I didn’t have Razzle Berry card stock, so I inked a piece of white paper with Razzle Berry Premium Dye Ink and it turned out great.
When I was going through my supplies, the Bold Stripes Cover-Up Die-namics caught my eye. I thought it would look great in white against such bright colors. I layered two of them and adhered them to my 9″ x 5 3/4″ card base with small foam dots here and there. That way it was easy to insert the flowers and leaves behind the stripes. I used foam dots, gluedots and matte liquid glue to adhere all of my elements.
I added enamel dots to some of the flowers and a simple sentiment from the Essential Sentiments, stamped in Razzle Berry Premium Dye Ink . I’m really pleased with the result and I’m sure I’ll use this color combo again.
Now head on over to the MFT Stamps challenge blog to see the projects of my talented teammates and join us for a chance to win a 50$ My Favorite Things Gift Voucher  to the online store. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
