Card with watercolor flowers

Card with watercolor flowers for MFT.

Hi there! How is your weekend going? I’ve had the privilege to play with the MFT June Card Kit and today, for Day 1 of the Countdown, I’m sharing a card with watercolor flowers.

The Flowers in Bloom Card Kit includes the following products:
I had a lot of fun playing with the Color Burst pigments and Ken Oliver Watercolor paper. The colors are really bright and beautiful and the pigments are perfect for watercolor techniques.
I stamped the flowers with black pigment ink and added some clear embossing powder to get a shiny and raised outline. Then I spritzed water on the panel and went to work. After it dried, I die cut it with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics and added the word “thanks”.

To finish the card I added a second panel in Coral Crush and a cardbase cut out of Smooth White Card Stock. I also added some turquoise gems. That’s it for today, please click on through to the MFT Blog to be linked to the incredible projects that my brilliant teammates have created for your Flowers in Bloom Card Kit inspiration. Thanks for stopping by!
