Christmas gift tags for October MFT & Friends

Christmas gift tags for October MFT & Friends.

Hi again! The October Release Countdown has reached its end and all the new goodies are now available in the MFT Boutique! Before you go on a shopping spree, please check out these Christmas gift tags that I made with some of the left overs from these days.

After each Release Countdown, I usually end up with a bunch of left over die cuts. Sometimes I give them to my kids and sometimes I throw them away. However, this week I used them to create gift tags for Christmas.

Once again, I used card stock in traditional Christmas colors: Smooth White, Kraft, Electric Red, Jellybean and a little bit of Sour Apple and gold.

Gift tags in white, red and gold.

The tag from the Gift Tag Die-namics is perfectly sized and I love all of the cute accents that are included in the set. I decorated this pair with the trees from the Joy, Love and Peace Die-namics, the house from the Snowy Scene Builder Die-namics and the stars from the Stitch-able Falling Stars Die-namics. All of the stamped sentiments are from the Bitty Holiday Wishes set.

To make them more sturdy, I actually stacked two tags and stamped the reverse of each ansemble with the same stamp from the Holiday Tag Talk set in Kraft Premium Dye Ink or in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink.

For these two I used the cute trees and slope from the Snowy Scene Builder Die-namics and snowman from the Classic Snow Globe Die-namics. I also used the Snowfall – Vertical Stencil and white texture paste on the tag to the left.

Here I used some left over die cuts from Day 4 of the October Release Countdown. The dove from the Peace on Earth Die-namics is  beautiful and so is the skyline from the Little Town of Bethlehem Die-namics.

The last trio of gift tags features letters from the Joy, Love and Peace Die-namics as well as shapes from the Joyful Wreath Die-namics. I also used the stripes from the Skinny Stripes – Horizontal Die-namics (in gold and white) as accents.

And that’s it from me for this release! Which gift tags caught your eyes? My favorites are the one with the tree background and the one with the dove. Please visit the MFT Blog to be linked to the projects of our guests (can’t wait to see who they are) and rest of DT. Thanks for stopping by!
