CAS card with balloon for WSC461

Hi again! In my second entry for today, I’m sharing a CAS card with a red balloon, which I made for WSC461 at the My Favorite Things Blog.

I switched the lower circular element for the cute hippo from the BB Happy Hippos stamp set and added a banner, which I die cut with one of the dies from the Blueprints 28 Die-namics.

For the upper circular element I chose a balloon, but since the one included in the Blueprints 26 Die-namics set was too big, I trimmed it with my scissors and covered it with a circle from the Tag Builder Blueprints 7 Die-namics. That way the cute knot was still showing, giving the impression of a complete balloon.

I colored it with the following Copic markers; R29, R27, R24 and R22 and drew the string with a thin Copic multiliner pen. For the hippo I used: W5, W3, W1 + R20 and since their skin isn’t totally smooth, I also added some texture with a pencil.
