Cheers! We’re down to the last Countdown Day before the MFT November Release is launched and I’ve got a very elegant New Year’s card for you.
I used both of the new Mod Link Die-namics dies to create a clean and simple card with jewel colors and the inlay technique. To me the mod links look like some sort of elegant baubles, so I treated them as such and placed them vertically as if hanging from an imaginary tree…
I die cut the outline in gold and the inside pieces in Blu Raspberry, Razzle Berry, Sour Apple and Lemon Drop card stock. For the 4″ x 6″ (10,2cm x 15,2cm) panel, I chose Blueberry Prestige Card Stock. I actually wanted to add a gold panel as well, but my last piece of Blueberry Card Stock wouldn’t have been big enough for the cardbase.
For the sentiment, I went with the Simply Cheers Die-namics die cut in gold. As a last touch, I added some Clear Round Drops (Mix 2) that I bought a while ago.
That’s it for today! If you want to see more cards with the inlay technique, check out THIS blog entry. Be sure to come back tomorrow to celebrate the November Release with me.
Now, I invite you to visit the MFT Blog to be linked to the gorgeous projects of my teammates. While you’re there, leave a comment for a chance to win a $75 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique! Byeeee!
