Floating sentiment card for Day 3

Floating sentiment card for Day 3 of the MFT March Release Countdown.

Yayyyy! We’re halfway to the MFT March Release and I’m celebrating by sharing a cute card with a floating sentiment.

Day 3

I wanted to use all featured products for today’s project, so I went ahead and die cut a couple of the frames from the Framed Die-namics in my favorite Summer Splash Prestige Card Stock. I did the same with the Scripty Smile Die-namics and Gold Sparkle Card Stock, backed with Scor-Tape.

I then used the die cut frame to draw a window on my 5 1/4″ x 8″ (13,3cm x 20,3cm) top fold Blu Raspberry cardbase. I cut it out with a craft knife and adhered the first frame to it.

I added double sided tape to the frame and adhered some clear threads vertically, in strategic places. It was especially important that one of them would coincide with the letter “i”.

I adhered the two die cut sentiments, sandwiching the four threads between them, to create the floating effect. Now I could add the cute cat and clouds from the new Caticorn stamp set, to complete the card.

That’s it from me for today. Head on to the MFT Blog for more inspiration. I’ll be back tomorrow, with more cute projects…
