Hi again! This week, the color combination of Color Challenge 137, at the MFT Blog, inspired me to create a card with a wreath, featuring the new Stitched Garden Die-namics.
I started by grabbing card stock in the featured colors; Lemon Chiffon, Sour Apple, Jellybean Green and Milk Chocolate. They immediately made me think of flowers and I remembered that I hadn’t yet used the Stitched Garden Die-namics..
I die cut a bunch of the elements for my wreath. I also die cut a 3.5″ (9cm) ring with two of the dies from the A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics. That way, it would be easier to create a symmetrical wreath.
I adhered some of the flowers and leaves with liquid adhesive and some of them with foam dots. Once it was completed, I went through my stash to find a word die that would fit.
I chose the Thank You Die-namics with its matching Thank You Outline Die-namics (which I die cut in vellum) and tried three different options; gold, brown and white. The white looked the best, in my opinion.
