Hello! Another month has rolled by and it’s time for the March Hits & Highlights at the MFT Blog. I created two totally different cards featuring the Pumped-Up Alphabet and Pumped-Up Numbers stamp sets.
The first one is an elegant 50th Birthday card in white, gold and peach. I stamped a bunch of random numbers in Peach Bellini and Coral Crush Premium Dye Ink on my 4″ x 5 1/2″ (10,1cm x 14cm) panel of Smooth White Card Stock, centering the number 50.
Next, I adhered the main panel to a 4 1/8″ x 5 1/2″ (10,5cm x 14cm) gold panel and then to an 8 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ (22,2cm x 14cm) card base. I heat embossed the sentiment from the All About You stamp set below it and added the die cut All About You Die-namics in gold, to complete the message.
To complete the first card, I applied some Bright Gold Nuvo Drops all over. Now on to the second one…
Since I had all of the supplies out, I wanted to make a colorful card for my 8-year old, who is taking all of the crazyness that is going on in the world, in stride. He misses his classmates, but never complains and is getting along with his older sister, better than ever.
First I used the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink to create the background. Then I stamped the letters from the Pumped-Up Alphabet in Wild Cherry, Orange Zest, Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Blu Raspberry and Wild Wisteria Premium Dye Ink. To give them more dimension, I added some highlights and shadows with Prismacolor pencils.
The only thing missing was a bunch of rainbow colored heart shaped enamel dots… That’s all for today. Head on to the MFT Blog to check out what my talented teammates made with the featured products. Thank you for your visit! ^_^
