I started by clear embossing the Splotchy Dots Background Stamp on a piece of 6″x6″ card stock. Then I ink blended it with Distress Oxide inks and die cut it with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics.
Next, I stamped the cute messages from the Positively Peppy Pennants set in Orange Zest, Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Blu Raspberry and Grape Jelly Premium Dye Inks on Smooth White Card Stock and die cut them with the Perfect Pennants Die-namics, which is our “Free with $60” for this month.
I also die cut the little strips in matching card stock and glued them to the pennants to make these stand out more. The following step was to attach the panel to an 8 3/4″ x 5 5/8″ (22,2cm x 14,3cm) white cardbase and adhere the pennants with triangular pieces of foam.
My teammates have created some beautiful projects for you today, so I hope that you stop by the MFT Blog to be linked to them. Don’t forget to leave a comment on each of the five countdown posts before 8 PM EDT on June 8, to be eligible to win a $75 gift card to the MFT Shop.
