Flower field card for Mid Month Release

Colorful card with flower field background for MFT June Mid Month Release.

Hiya! Today, for the MFT June 2020 Mid-Month Release, I want to share with you a card that I created with the gorgeous Flower Field Background stamp.

First I stamped it on a panel of Copic friendly card stock with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. Then I went to work with my Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils… it took me almost six hours to color the whole thing, but it was totally worth it, don’t you think?

Colorful card created with the Flower Field Background stamp for My Favorite Things.

Once I was done with the coloring, I used the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics, to cut my panel. I then added a strip of Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock with a heat embossed sentiment from the Bitty Thanks & Gratitude stamp, before adhering the panel to a white cardbase (with fun foam and scor tape).

I completed the sentiment with the cute “hello”, die cut with the Little Hello Die-namics out of Heavyweight Translucent Vellum and brushed gold card stock. As a last touch I added some gold enamel dots.

That’s it from me for today. I hope you enjoyed my colorful flower field card. It’s been a while since I did some flower coloring, but if you’re interested HERE’s another card with some beautiful roses.

The Copic/pencil coloring are wonderful. I bought some Copic markers this weekend and need practice to look even 1/2 as good as yours. The flowers are a work of art.
