Tutorial for interactive hot air balloon card with ferris wheel mechanism

Interactive hot air balloon card with ferris wheel mechanism.

For Day 2 of the MFT July Card Kit Release Countdown, I shared this interactive hot air balloon card and since I filmed the process, today I’m back with a tutorial, for what I call the ferris wheel mechanism.

Why ferris wheel? Because when you rotate the toothed wheel of my card, the hot air balloon moves in a small circle, while staying leveled. The pod of a ferris wheel also stays level while it rotates. Check out the movement in the video clip below:

To create the ferris wheel mechanism, I combined dies from the Peek-a-Boo Wheel Die-namics and Interactive Swing Die-namics. I also partially stamped the image from the Best Adventure Bears stamp set and die cut it with the matching die.

Without further ado, HERE’s the link to the tutorial on the MFT YouTube channel. Thank you so much for stopping by!
