Hi there! It’s time for our weekly sketch challenge, WSC500 at the MFT Blog. The beautiful sketch features a big heart, but since I don’t have any in my stash, I used…
…a pizza instead! It goes perfectly with the patterned paper from the Party Plaid Paper Pad and adds to the Italian restaurant vibe of the card.
It was fun to die cut all of the little toppings and ingredients with the Pizza Maker Die-namics… For added realism, I even inked some of them with matching Premium Dye Inks!
I didn’t want to cover all of my hard work with sentiment banners out of cardstock, so I used two types of vellum instead. Next, I heat embossed the sweet sentiment, from the BB Recipe for Happiness (in white) on them and adhered them to the pizza with strips of Stick-It adhesive.
I completed the little scene with three stacked frames from the A2 Rectangle Frames Die-namics, die cut out of Smooth White Card Stock and some matching enamel dots.
That’s it for today. I hope you join us for this fun challenge at the MFT Blog. You could turn out to be the lucky winner of one of two $100 gift vouchers to the MFT Boutique! After all we’re celebrating our 500th challenge! Before you leave, you might wanna check out THIS interactive pizza card, that I created a few months ago.
