Hiya! We’ve reached the middle of the MFT October Release Countdown and for Day 3, I’m popping in to show you a Christmas card featuring the adorable ice skaters from the Warm Hugs & Frosty Kisses stamp set.

Copic markers used for card with ice skaters
I stamped them with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink on Copic friendly card stock, die cut them with matching dies and colored them with the following markers:
- Bear: E35, E33, E31, BG18, BG15, BG13, BG11, BG10, R27, R24, R22, W10
- Dog: E35, E33, E31, BG13, BG11, G14, G12, R24, R22, W10
- Penguin: W10, W7, W1, BG11, BG10, YR64, R01, R00
- Trees: G46, G14, G12, E33, E31

For the landscape I used a piece of patterned paper from the Christmas Cheer Paper Pad and two of the dies from the Stitched Slimline Snow Drifts Die-namics. I also cut a strip of Sno Cone Card Stock, for the ice. To add a faux stitching to all of these landscape elements, I die cut them with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics.

The cute ice skaters are creating their own sentiment with some of the letters from the Very Merry and Bright Die-namics, die cut in (three layers of) Red Hot Card Stock. I added a layer of Wink of Stella, to make them extra festive… I also added a banner, cut with one of the dies from the Skinny Strips Die-namics, to complete the sentiment.

That’s pretty much all I can tell you about this card. As always, I added drops of Glossy Accents to the eyes and noses of the critters, to really make them come alive. In the last picture of today’s card, you can see all of the different textures.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have fun checking out the projects of my teammates on the MFT Blog and on their personal blogs. We all love your visits and comments!
