As you might have guessed, when you pull on the pull tab, the van slides across the panel, but it does so in such a fun way… as if there where bumps in the road. Check it out in action, in the clip below:
I actually wanted to add a second interactive feature, to make the lions head bop, but I couldn’t figure it out, so i’ll leave that for another time…
I obviously colored the animals with my beloved Copic markers, but I also used them to add some realism to the critter caravan, that I die cut out of Red Hot, Black Licorice, Silver Shine and Sno Cone card stock (for the windows).
The card turned out a little plain because I got so carried away with the fun mechanism, which I’ll definitely use again. I only decorated it with the sun and clouds from the Sweet Safari set and a heart from the Band-Aids Die-namics. I forgot to mention that the sentiment, which I heat embossed in white on the Gravel Gray panel that covers the mechanism, is from the Zippy Zebras stamp set.
OK, that’s all from me for today. My teammates have made some incredible cards with the featured products, so head on over to the MFT Blog to check them out! Thanks for your visit, I really appreciate it! ^_^
