I also added some facial features by using one of the dies from the Straight-Up Rainbow Die-namics, which make anything look cute!
Now that my milk carton was ready, it was time to work on the background. Black and white usually looks good on a turquoise background. So I die cut a piece of Summer Splash Prestige Card Stock with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics and adhered it to an 8 3/4″ x 5 6/8″ card base of Smooth White Card Stock.
I die cut the letters both in black and white card stock (backed with Stick-It adhesive) and layered them slightly offset to create a 3D shadow effect. To adhere them as straight as possible, I drew some lines with a pencil and T-ruler.
In order to balance the sentiment, I added a speech bubble die cut with one of the Love Speech Bubbles Die-namics. I added a second one diagonally opposed, to draw attention back to the milk carton.
That’s it from me for today! I would love to know if you like creating your own sentiments and if any of the products from the MFT December Release has caught your eye. So drop a comment below if you feel like it. Thanks for stopping by and make sure to visit the MFT Blog for more inspiration.
