Wood texture shadow box card for February MFT & Friends

Shadow box Birthday card for MFT February & Friends.

Yay, today we’re celebrating the MFT February Release and I’m doing it with a cute wood texture shadow box card. I made it mixing a bunch of different products… both new and older.

For Day 5 of the Countdown I made THIS fun cheese shaped shadow box card. This time, I used the Heart Rays Die-namics to cut a window in my card. But before that, I created the wood texture by stamping the Wood Plank Background with Kraft Premium Dye Ink on two 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ pieces of Kraft Card Stock.

Next, I used the largest die from the Shadow Box Die-namics to die cut them. I also added the wood texture to the back of one of the pieces, so that it could be seen when looking through the heart shaped window.

Inside, the mice from the BB Mice Day to Celebrate are throwing one heck of a party! I used one of my favorite combos of Copic markers, which you will also find in THIS card, to color them;  W5, W3, W1, R01, R00, R24, R22, R20, Y17, Y15, Y11, BG13, BG11 and BG10.

The two in the front almost look like they’re about to kiss, so this could even be a cute Wedding Anniversary card. That’s why I chose to add such a general sentiment. It’s from the Bitty Birthday Wishes stamp set and I heat embossed it on a banner die cut with the Elegant Folded Banner Die-namics (our Free with $60 product).

Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving such sweet comments! I hope you enjoyed all of the Countdown posts and my card for the February MFT & Friends. I would love to know which of the new products are your favorites.
