It’s time to kick off the brief MFT March Card Kit Release and I’m doing so with a fun card featuring messy cats.
They are from the adorable Housecats stamp set. I stamped all of the images from the set on Copic friendly card stock and die cut them with matching dies. Then I stored the ones that I didn’t use in a cellophane bag, for future projects. I also die cut a couple of things from the Cat & Plant Perches Die-namics out of Caribbean Sea Prestige Card Stock. It has definitely become my new favorite color!
Next, I had a look at the Wallpaper Patterns Paper Pad and chose one of the patterns for the floor and another one for the wall. These allow us to create gorgeous indoor scenes in no time!
Once I had chosen the color scheme (orange, green, aqua and gray), I went to work on the coloring of the images. I used the following Copic markers: YR27, YR24, YR21, BG13, BG11, BG10, G43, G40 and BG000.
Nex, I planned my little scene and adhered all of the elements with foam tape. Those two sweet kitties are about to make a big mess, LOL! There was no better sentiment for my card than the partially stamped “Life is messy (friends help)” from the BB Cat-astrophe set. BTW, HERE’s a card with messy dogs, that you might like.
That’s it from me for today. I leave you with a picture of the MFT “Cats & Plants” March Card Kit. Thank you for stopping by and don’t forget to visit the MFT Blog for more information… Byeeeee!
