Hi there! It’s time for another interactive card tutorial on the MFT YouTube channel! I’ve made a cute double slider card with a surprise sentiment that I hope you’ll enjoy.
Before I get into the details, let’s check out the card in action!
As you can see, when we pull the slider panel, a large surprise sentiment appears to the right of the cool cat. He’s so cool that he’s wearing sun glasses indoors! 😉
To create the little scene, I combined products from the adorable March Card Kit with older goodies. I started by adhering one of the patterned papers from the Wallpaper Patterns Paper Pad to a piece of Eiffel Tower Prestige Card Stock. Then I used the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics to die cut my panel.
In the tutorial, you can see how I cut the slits for the cellophane strip with a craft knife. Here’s a diagram in case you want to recreate the exact same card:
To decorate my panel, I used a bunch of die cut and colored images from the Housecats set. They were mostly left-overs from my MFT March Card Kit Countdown projects, which you can see HERE, HERE and HERE.
