Hello! Today I’m sharing an elegant graphic card with a stained glass look, for Day 2 of the MFT April Card Kit Release Countdown.
If you like creating bold, graphic cards like me, you’ll love this kit! It contains the following products:
I repeated it four times. After that I used the Heart Burst Die-namics to cut two hearts, one in black and one in white. I backed the card stock with Stick-It adhesive, so that it would be easier to adhere the pieces later.
Next, I colored the white inside pieces with the following Copic markers: R29, R27, R24 – YR68, YR65, YR61 – Y17, Y15, Y13 – G05, G03, G02 – BG05, BG02, BG01 – BV02, BV01, BV00.
I also used the Heart Burst Hellos Die-namics to cut a plain white heart shape. Now, I could assemble all of the elements to create a beautiful rainbow colored heart with a stained glass look.
In order to add some volume, I adhered it to my card base with foam tape. I also added a couple of white, layered heart pieces to the closest stamped hearts, to support the delicate sentiment. To make it sturdier, I die cut it with the Hey Die-namics out of Smooth White and Gold Shine card stock and stacked them.
To finish the card, I added some black and white gemstones and a little banner with a sentiment from the Heart Burst Hellos set. Before you head on to the MFT Blog, you might want to check out THIS selection of graphic cards that I’ve made throughout the years. Thank you for stopping by!
