I made them for Day 2 of the MFT September Release Countdown. Although the Santas are very colorful, I only colored their faces, belts, , baubles, gloves and shoes with Copic markers. It took me a whole minute! The rest of the elements were stamped with the following Premium Dye Inks: Red Hot, Sour Apple and Butterscotch.
Although you can barely see it in the pictures, the backgrounds of the three tags are embossed in white with the Christmas Greetings Background.
In this close up you can faintly see the text, which is totally visible in real life. For the tags themselves I used the Trendy Tag Die-namics die cut in Smooth White and Caribbean Sea Prestige card stock.
To give them a little bit more volume I layered two of the scalloped frames. I also added some Glossy Accents to the candy canes and the light bulbs below.
I love coloring but I must admit that it was really fun to play with these layering stamps. The images are not meant to be perfect so there’s no need to line up the stamps perfectly.
Thank you for stopping by! I hope you also visit the MFT Blog for more information and inspiration.
