CAS card with rainbow brush strokes

CAS card with brush strokes for MFT May Vault Release.

Yay, it’s time to celebrate the MFT May Vault Release and I’m doing so with a CAS card with rainbow brush strokes.

I started by heat embossing the Typewriter Text Background stamp in white on a piece of Smooth White Card Stock. Next, I stamped the brush strokes from the Abstract Art set with the following Premium Dye Inks: Red Hot, Candied Yam, Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Summer Splash, Cornflower and Boysenberry.

I didn’t wanna spoil the cool effect of the rainbow brush strokes so I decided to use the camouflaged sentiment technique. After die cutting my A2 cardbase with the All About You Die-namics I adhered a panel covered in double sided adhesive behind it and inlaid the inside pieces of the Y and O.

I also die cut the “you” out of white fun foam and inlaid it to create volume. To complete the sentiment I added a little strip of Lemon Drop Card Stock with the word “rock” from the Keep On Rockin’ stamp set.

As a last touch I added a couple of enamel dots and that’s it. I hope you enjoyed today’s card! Thanks for your visit and don’t forget to head on to the MFT Blog or MFT YouTube Channel for more inspiration!
