I started by cutting two pairs of posicles of each of the following colors of card stock: Red Hot, Candied Yam, Butterscotch, Sour Apple, Caribbean Sea and Grape Jelly. For the sticks I used Kraft Card Stock.
After assembling them with liquid glue, I covered them with a layer of Nuvo Glitter Accents. They turned out really frosty and delicious looking.
Next, I adhered them with slivers of foam tape to a panel, cut with the largest die from the Slimline Double Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics out of Smooth White Card Stock, which I had previously glued to my 8 1/2″ x 7″ card base of Caribbean Sea Card Stock.
As a last touch, to go with the theme, I added some clear enamel dots. The result is a very refreshing card, isn’t it? Thanks for your visit! Head on to the MFT Blog and YouTube Channel for more June inspiration from the DT.
