Geometric Christmas card

Geometric Christmas card for the MFT October Release.

Yay, today I’m celebrating the MFT October Release with a colorful geometric Christmas card. I created it with the versatile MSTN Cool Christmas Trees Die-namics.

Colorful geometric Christmas card for My Favorite Things.

I started by die cutting the elements out of the following colors of MFT card stock (backed with Stick-It adhesive): Gold Shine, Caribbean Sea, Red Hot and Kraft. Then I played around with the placement and adhered them to a piece of Smooth White Card Stock.

Next, I used the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics to die cut my panel. I adhered it to an A2 card base of the same white card stock and went to work on the sentiment banner.

First, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Mod & Merry stamp set on a piece of Black Licorice Card Stock. Then I cut it with one of the dies from the Skinny Strips Die-namics. Finally, I adhered it to my geometric Christmas card with black foam adhesive. I didn’t think it needed any embellishments, but in hindsight it would have looked cool to add volume to some of the shapes…

We’ve seen six cards made with products from the new release. Which one is your favorite? Thank you very much for your visit! Happy shopping!
