Geometrical encouragement card for Day 1

Geometric encouragement card for Day 1 of the MFT June Release Countdown.

We’re down to Day 1 of the MFT June Release Countdown and I’m stopping by to show you this cute little encouragement card that I created with two of today’s featured products.

I experimented a lot with the Inward Elements Stencil and Distress Oxide Inks and ended up choosing the Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade and Fossilized Amber combo for my card. They just blend so nicely together…

I used the largest die from the Stitched Square STAX Die-namics to cut the panel, which I adhered with fun foam to a 8 3/4″ x 4 3/8″ (22,2cm x 11,1cm) card base of Smooth White Card Stock. My first idea was to decorate it with the fun speechbubbles from the All the Encouragement stamp set, but they we’re a little bit too large for my 4 1/8″ x 4 1/8″ (10,5cm x 10,5cm) panel, so I ended up using just one.

I stamped it with black StazOn ink on Heavyweight Translucent Vellum and added some cute paw prints from the BB Cat-astrophe stamp set. After stamping, die-cutting and coloring the cat and adhering it to the panel with thin foam squares, I decided to add a second mini speech bubble, with a matching enamel heart.

That was enough to finish the card, which I’ll definitely send to a fellow cat lover… I’m curious to know which one is your favorite product from the MFT June Release? I loved many of them, like the Baby Shark Die-namics and Birdie Brown’s cat and dog sets. Get your shopping lists ready because  they will be flying off the shelves! Thank you so much for stopping by!
