Card with embossed triangles for Day 5

Christmas card with embossed triangles for Day 5 of the MFT September Release Countdown.

Yay, it’s time to kick off the MFT September Release Countdown and I’m sharing a Christmas card with embossed triangles.

I created it with a bunch of today’s featured products but the one that I used the most was the Christmas Greetings Background, which of course also serves as my sentiment.

First, I embossed it in white on two green tones of patterned paper from the Keep Me in Stitches Paper Pad. Then I embossed the same stamp with copper embossing powder on blue  patterned paper, which I die cut with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics and adhered to my A2 card base of Smooth White Card Stock.

Next, I used three of the dies from the Stitched Tall Triangle STAX Die-namics to die cut my Christmas trees… First, out of the patterned paper (strategically, so that there would be no interruption in the text) and then out of two tones of green card stock, so that I could layer them.

It looks really cool in real life although it was difficult to capture the shine of the embossed triangles and background on camera. As a last touch, I added some sparkly silver white enamel stars.
