Hi again! Today I’m stopping by quickly to show you a card with kangaroos that I made for Day 2 of the My Favorite Things May Release Count Down.
It’s actually a baby card to congratulate my sister on the arrival of her baby boy, who was born April 28. The card features a complete happy family of four kangaroos, from the Kangaroo Crew stamp set.
The first thing I did, was to stamp, color and diecut the kangaroos, using the matching die set. Next, I created a little scene with a panel cut out of Berrylicious Card Stock, using the largest die from the Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1. I also prepared a panel with different green Distress Inks and one of the dies from the Grassy Hills Die-namics.
The tree that you can see in the background was cut with the Branch Out Die-namics die and it’s also from the May Release.
For the personalized sentiment, I used a bunch of products; Essential Sentiments, Blueprints 28 Die-namics, LLD Stitched Banner Alphabet and Skinny Strips Die-namics. To finish the card, I added four heart-shaped enamel dots and that’s it.
