Card with Freshly Picked Flowers

Hi again! I’m back with another card for Day 4 of the MFT February Release Countdown. This one features the Freshly Picked Flowers Die-namics, which is great for Mother’s Day or celebration cards.

First I diecut all of the elements out of Ripe Raspberry, Cotton Candy, Smooth White, Sour Apple and Jellybean Green card stock. Then I assembled everything and added foam squares behind the jug and some of the flowers.

I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and try some new colors, so I embossed a sentiment from the Bitty Birthday Wishes in white directly onto an A2 cardbase in Sour Apple.

The contrast between the white jug and the green background, in real life, is really fresh and pretty, although it was difficult to capture in a picture…
