Yay, today we’re kicking off the MFT April Release Countdown! I’ve made a colorful card with a bunny and bear from the sweet Favorite Somebunny stamp set, that I hope you’ll enjoy.

List of Copic markers used for card with bunny and bear

I started by stamping them with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink on a piece of Copic friendly card stock. Then I die cut them with the matching dies and colored them with the following markers: w7, W3, W1, W00, BG13, BG11, BG10, E55, E53 and E51.

Next, I heat embossed the Abstract Triangle Background on a piece of Ken Oliver Watercolor Paper and used the following Premium Dye Inks to create the rainbow background: Amarena Cherry, Moroccan Spice, Candied Yam, Butterscotch, Lemon Chiffon, Sour Apple, Caribbean Sea, Grapesicle and Grape Jelly.

After I was done with the ink blending, I spritzed water and some Glimmer Mist all over. Once it was dry, I used the second largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics to die cut my panel.

For the sentiment, I chose a banner of Heavyweight Translucent Vellum die cut with the larger die from the Fishtail Foundations Die-namics. In order to add some volume, I adhered it to a second banner die cut out of Red Hot Card Stock.

Finally, I adhered the bunny and bear with thin foam dots and the panel to an A2 card base of Smooth White Card Stock. I also added some rainbow colored enamel hearts to finish the card.

Thanks for stopping by. Before you leave, you might want to check out THIS other card with a rainbow back ground. Don’t forget to visit the MFT Blog for more DT projects created with today’s featured products.
