Fiftieth anniversary card

Fiftieth anniversary card in gold and blue tones.

It’s time to kick off the MFT December Release Countdown! I made an elegant card for my parents’ fiftieth anniversary featuring a bunch of the new products.

First I created the background using the following products: Festive Fireworks, Blue Beyond Card Stock and Blue Beyond Premium Dye Ink. I also used four tones of embossing powder (gold, silver, platinum and turquoise). They really pop on the dark panel!

Next, I die cut it with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics and adhered it to a panel of Summer Splash Card Stock with foam adhesive.

I also die cut the numbers, with the Solid Numbers Die-namics and Outline Numbers Die-namics, out of Kraft (2 layers) and Brushed Gold (1 layer) card stock. Initially I was going to place them on top of the largest firework, but they covered it too much.

To complete the sentiment I made a banner with the dies from the It’s a Banner Day Die-namics and a stamp from the Banner Day Celebrations set. I chose Summer Splash and Caribbean Sea card stock for this, since they matched the turquoise embossing powder.

As a last touch I added some matching enamel dots and heart. I really hope that mom and dad like their fiftieth anniversary card and that you’ll love the MFT December Release as much as I do. More inspiration from the DT, on their blog. Thanks for your visit!
