Yay, it’s time for the MFT October Release Preview and I’m sharing a clean and simple Christmas card with an XL Joy sentiment, for the occasion.

I started by die cutting the letters “J” and “O” from the Joy Die-namics out of Smooth White Card Stock. To make them nice and sturdy I stacked three layers of card stock. For the fourth layer I chose a patterned paper from the Colorful Christmas Text Paper Pad.

Next, I used our Free with $60 product, the Mini Holly Wreath Die-namics, Field Day Card Stock and Red Hot Card Stock to create a cute substitute for the “O”. For a more frosty look, I added some Glossy Accents to the berries and glitter paste to the leaves. I also added a little banner made with a stamp from the Sweetest Holiday Wishes set and my beloved Skinny Strips Die-namics.

Finally, I glued everything to a panel cut with the second largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics, which I had previously adhered to an A2 card base covered with another paper from the previously mentioned pad.

Do you like how this card with an XL Joy turned out or do you prefer this other Christmas card with a big sentiment that I made last year? Head on to the MFT Blog to preview all of the wonderful products from the October Release, which goes live tomorrow!
