Hello! Today I’m stopping by to share an elegant card with poppies that I made for Mother’s Day. It features stamps from the gorgeous Freshly Picked Bouquet set.
My mom lives in Finland, so I don’t get to see her very often. But I always make sure to send her a bunch of cards…
This time I started by stamping the bouquet with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink on Copic friendly paper. After die cutting it with the matching die, I colored it with the following markers: R59, R39, R37, R35, W3, W1, W00, YR24, YR21, G16, G14, G12, G43 and G40.
Next, I did some ink blending with Distress Oxide Inks. Once the ink was dry, I cut a panel with the second largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics. I also cut a slightly larger one out of Gold Shine Card Stock.
As a last touch I added some gold Nuvo Crystal Drops. I hope mom will like her card. Before you leave, you might wanna check out THIS other card with detailed flowers (and poppies).
