Slider card with soda bottle

Interactive slider card featuring a soda bottle for Spotlight Day 2 of the MFT December Release Countdown.

Howdy! For Spotlight Day 2 of the MFT December Release (and for my monthly video tutorial) I made a simple slider card featuring a soda bottle from the Soda Pop Die-namics set.

Before I tell you more about the card let’s have a look at it, in action in the video clip below:

As you can see, when we pull on the slider panel, all of the cola disappears revealing a cute red heart…

I had a lot of fun turning a piece of acetate into coke by applying a couple of layers of Copic reinker E57 (Light Walnut). It looks pretty realistic, although I would have loved to be able to create some tiny bubbles as well.

The clean and simple card is very retro thanks to the Wild Cherry + Summer Splash + Smooth White combo and the Stitched Mod Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I almost added some light gray rays with the Sunny Rays Stencil and I’m sure it would have looked even cooler…

Make sure to check out the tutorial on the MFT YouTube channel and head on to the MFT Blog for more sodalicious projects!
