Hi there! It’s been clear for a while that blogging is quickly becoming obsolete. But after putting in so much work, I refuse to give up on my blog. It’s been five weeks since my last entry and I have some news to share, starting with the goodbyes…
Goodbye LPC
Let me start by sharing the latest piece of news. After three years as a member of the La Pareja Creativa design team, I’ve decided to move on and let somebody else take my place. It’s been a tough and sad decision to reach, but I think it’s a correct one. I love the brand, Tina and my creative colleagues, but all good things must come to an end and after so much time, my restless mind is craving new creative adventures.

Check out my last entry in which I share some of my favorite projects and say goodbye to Tina and my LPC girls…
Goodbye Create a Smile
Another experience that has come to an end is my six-month long term at the Create a Smile Challenge DT. It’s been a short but fun experience and I’ve met a group of very talented international cardmakers like Alexandra, Ashlee, Ellenor, Giada, Sindhu, Victoriya and Xenia.

At first glance, it’s a simple Christmas card, but I’ve used a lot of masking to create it. The Create a Smile products have a fun touch which makes them unique and I’m sure I’ll keep using them in the future.
A Christmas album for Mundo Mint
I also hadn’t mention this project, which us Minty Girls (Mundo Mint’s DT) have been sharing since the beginning of November on Instagram. Hmm, now that I think of it I hadn’t even told you about this design team yet!

Well, I’ve finally finished the album. It’s been quite the challenge, but it has also been a lot of fun! I mainly used the beautiful collection “Estrella Polar” by Sweet Möma BCN. If you’re interested, here’s the video tutorial (in Spanish) of this double slider album page that I made for Mundo Mint’s Youtube channel.
Collaboration with My Favorite Things
Another piece of news, that I haven’t shared here on the blog yet, is that I’ve been asked to contribute to the MFT Stamps YouTube channel on a monthly basis. My Favorite Things has always been one of my favorite brands, so I’m absolutely thrilled! A couple of weeks ago, they published my first interactive card tutorial on their channel. You can check it out over there or below:
And thus conclude the updates… 2019 has began with some changes and a whole bunch of creative drive and I’m dying to make the most of it. See you soon!
