Hi again! We’re halfway to the October Release and today I’m sharing three quick Christmas cards made with only two dies.

The whimsical Joy, Love, and Peace Die-namics is definitely a must have this season. You can use it to make a Christmas card in just minutes, for example by die cutting a panel in white and popping it up on a colorful cardbase with or without 3D foam squares!

Red, white, green and kraft are definitely my traditional, go-to Christmas colors (must be a Nordic thing, LOL) and I used them once again. If you missed my previous MFT October Release Countdown posts, you can have a quick look HERE and HERE.

I used the inlay technique for all three cards, but the first two have hardly any volume, since I adhered the panels directly to the cardbases with double sided adhesive. Then I ran the Joy, Love, and Peace die through my diecutting machine with different colored card stock. I even made my own striped card stock with the Skinny Stripes – Vertical Die-namics (our Free with $60 product)!

Next, it was just a matter of inserting the different colored letters in their places. In the above card, I layered three Christmas trees, to make it stand out a little bit more.

The third card is actually a shaker card! I’m generally not a fan of them, but this one was really easy and quick to make. I diecut the whole panel out of Smooth White Card Stock backed with Stick-it adhesive and adhered it to a piece of acetate. Then I inlaid all of the letters except the three that I chose for the shaker windows.

Next, I simply adhered two layers of 3D foam around the windows (and rest of the panel), filled them with seed beads and backed them with pieces of card stock in Kraft, Electric Red and Jelly Bean Green.

Thanks for stopping by! I’ll be back tomorrow with another Countdown post. Please click on through to the MFT Blog to be linked to the projects that my teammates have created for your inspiration.
