Hi there! This month’s Birthday Project Challenge at the
MFT Blog is all about clean and simple. I created a card using the beautiful Rose Garden stamp that I was dying to play with.
I stamped the stamp with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink on an A2 panel of Copic friendly paper and colored it with the following Copic markers: RV34, RV32, RV11, G46, G43 and G40.

After I was done with the coloring, I used one of the dies from the
Huge Hugs Die-namics set to cut out the word “Hugs”. Next I glued the panel to the cardbase and inserted the letters in their places with some 3D Foam Squares.

I also partially stamped and heat embossed words from the Bitty Birthday Wishes and Bitty Thanks & Gratitude sets to create a vellum banner stating: “Sending Birthday” to complete the sentiment.

Hopefully my clean and simple rose garden card inspires you to participate in the December Birthday Project challenge. You could turn out to be the lucky winner of a $50 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique! Have a great day!
