Interactive cartwheeling gnome card tutorial

Interactive cartwheeling gnome card tutorial for MFT

Hi there! For today’s tutorial at the MFT Stamps YouTube channel, I created an interactive card with a fun cartwheeling gnome from the BB Hanging with my Gnomies.

Although at first glance it might look like a regular slider card, the mechanism is actually a hybrid between the “sliding pull tab spinner”  that I saw on the Square Type YouTube Channel, which I highly recommend, and my teammate Karolyn’s Spinning record player card. Thanks for the inspiration, ladies! ^_^

When we pull on the tab, the gnome spins and moves to the right af if he was cartwheeling! Let’s see it in action!

Isn’t that a fun effect? The best thing about this mechanism is that it’s quite easy to make with one of the Spin & Slide Discs and the card isn’t bulky like most interactive cards.

Lately, I’ve been asked by subscribers to share my Copic coloring technique, and although I’m no expert, I’ve included six minutes of coloring in today’s tutorial. So if you’d like to see how I colored the cute gnome, head on to the MFT YouTube Channel!

OK, I’m keeping this blog post short, because I tell you everything you need to know about the card in the tutorial. If you missed my last interactive card, a pop up with all of the gnomes from the same stamp set, you can read all about it HERE.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great day! ^_^
