Hi again! I’m back with a clean and simple card with a frosty wreath, that I made for Day 1 of the MFT September Card Kit Release Countdown.
I started by die cutting a bunch of the leaves using our Free with $60 gift, the Holly Berries Die-namics in Limelight and Gumdrop Green card stock. Then I shaped them with a ball point stylus and added a layer of “Fresh Snowfall” Nuvo Glitter Accents to them. When it dries, it gives the illusion of frost and I love how it looks!
Next, I die cut some berries using two colors of red card stock (Red Hot and Electric Red) backed with Scor-Tape. Afte applying Glossy Accents to them, I also added the previously mentioned product for the frosty effect.
Once my berries and leaves were dry, I drew a circle on my A2 card base and adhered the leaves with glue dots. Next, I peeled of the backing from the Scor-Tape and adhered the berries on top.
I knew that this sentiment from the Merry & Bright stamp set would look perfect in the middle of the frosty wreath. So I stamped it with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and die cut it using the Phrase Builder Die-namics.
The wreath turned out so pretty, that I didn’t think the card needed any embellishments. Thank you for your visit. The Merry & Bright Card Kit will be available in the MFT Store tomorrow, Tuesday 11 September at 10 AM EDT!
