Hi again! It’s time for another weekly challenge… Color Challenge or CC150. This time, the color palette inspired me to create a CAS fall card with a cute bear and some leaves.
I used the light brown color for the bear’s fur, the medium green for his sweater and the two orange tones for the leaves and other details.
First of all I prepared the A2 Tangy Orange cardbase with some tone on tone stamping, using the leaves from the lovely Autumn Blessings set. Then I stamped the sentiment, from the same set, on a piece of Copic friendly card stock.
After it dried, I stamped the pile of leaves from the SY Piles of Fun, with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink, above it. I masked it so that I could stamp the bear and make it look as if he were standing in it. After coloring my mini scene with Copic markers, I used the largest die from the A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics to die cut my panel.
Next, I adhered the circular panel to the orange cardbase with double sided tape and added the final touches; Glossy Accents to the nose and buttons and a light orange enamel heart.
I must say that I’m very pleased with my CAS fall card. I hope it has inspired you to participate in Color Challenge 150 at the MFT Blog. We would love to see what you create with this eye catching color combo!
