Ice princess card for Day 2

Ice princess card for Day 2 of the MFT November Release Countdown.

Hi there! For Day 2 of the MFT November Release Countdown, I played around with the beautiful Baccarat Background and the Ice Princess and Friends stamp set, to create a wintery geometrical card.

First, I die cut a little template out of masking paper with the 3 1/2″ circle from the A2 Circle STAX Die-namics. Then I adhered it to a piece of Smooth White Card Stock and heat embossed the before-mentioned geometrical stamp, in white. Next, I did some ink blending with Distress Oxide Inks and spritzed the whole thing with Myca Spray.

Once the ink was dry, I used the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics to cut my panel and adhered it to a white 8 3/4″ x 5 5/8″ card base.

Next, I went to work on my little circular scene and stamped the two images from the Ice Princess and Friends stamp set with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I colored them with Copic markers and added some “Fresh Snowfall” Glitter Accents and a couple of snowflakes die cut with the Sweet Snowflakes Die-namics.

I also added a bunch of them around the circle, which I adhered to the panel with some white fun foam. The sentiment, heat embossed on a strip of Heavyweight Translucent Vellum, is from the Essential Sentiments stamp set.
