Card with sheep for WSC556 at the MFT Blog.

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a cute little card with hills and sheep for the Wednesday Sketch Challenge (WSC556) at the MFT Blog.

This week’s sketch reminded me of hills so I took the liberty of chopping off the lower edge of the circles and decorating my scene with images from the BB Ewe Are the Best stamp set.

I started by die cutting two 3.5″ (9cm) circles of Sour Apple Card Stock and one 2.5″ (6,7cm) circle of Prickly Pear Prestige Card Stock. Then I inked them with Sour Apple and Jalapeño Popper Premium Dye Inks. I also spritzed some water on them for that cool textured effect.

Once they were dry, I temporarily adhered them together with tape and trimmed them with my paper trimmer. Then I added strips of card stock to the back of the large hills to put all three on the same level.

Next, I heat embossed the sentiment onto a strip of Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock and adhered it to the hills before gluing the ensemble to my A2 card base of Smooth White Card Stock.

Finally, I colored the images with the following Copic markers, before fussy cutting them and adhering them to my card: R27, R24, R22, W5, W3, W1, G43, G40, E53, E51 and E50.

That’s it from me for today! I hope you join WSC556 at the MFT Blog. You could be the lucky winner of a $50 gift voucher to the MFT Store.
